UV light is a highly effective way to disinfect drinking water and the most important component of any UV system is naturally a proper functioning UV lamp. When a sufficient level of radiation intensity (UV dose) is emitted from the UV lamps, UV light will inactivate (kill) viruses, bacteria and bacterial spores.
